At Pepper Lake City, Inc., we believe that strong communities are built through collaboration, compassion, and shared purpose. We are proud to work alongside our valued partners who share our commitment to improving lives and creating lasting change.
In partnership with the American Red Cross, we actively raise awareness about the critical need for blood donors to support individuals affected by sickle cell disease. This initiative reflects our dedication to health, equity, and community well-being.
Our efforts also extend to supporting homeless individuals, veterans, survivors of human trafficking, single parents (both mothers and fathers), and children in foster care. Together with our partners, we strive to uplift and empower those in need — helping them find stability, hope, and opportunity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who collaborate with us in our mission to build stronger, more compassionate communities.

Onyxx Monopoly is a multifaceted entrepreneur, media professional, and philanthropist, known for turning pain into purpose and purpose into power.
Born in California as the first biracial child in her family, Onyxx’s early life was marked by difference and resilience. She faced racism, abuse, and rejection—even within her own family—because of her lighter skin tone and mixed heritage. These experiences inspired her lifelong dedication to healing, diversity, and inclusion.
Her compassion for others is also rooted in her mother’s story. Her birth mother endured neglect and trauma from her own parents, facing homelessness, addiction, and rejection throughout her life. Despite those struggles, she found lasting love and acceptance with Onyxx’s stepmother, with whom she shared nearly 30 years before her passing in 2015. Together, they believed in Onyxx’s potential and gave her the sacred mission to break the generational cycles of pain and prove their family was destined for healing, not hardship.
Rescued from human trafficking as a youth and later adopted through foster care, Onyxx turned her experiences into a calling to uplift others. Her journey is a testament that the cycle can be broken—and that one person’s healing can become a movement of hope.
Onyxx’s career began in entertainment as a teenager, where she found expression and empowerment through creativity. Her early experiences in music and media gave her the tools to tell powerful stories and reach wide audiences.
She was featured in the documentary “Light Girls” on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), a landmark project exploring the experiences of women of lighter complexion within the Black community. Her participation brought awareness to issues of identity, colorism, and resilience—topics deeply connected to her own journey.
Today, Onyxx is an accomplished film and music producer, talent manager, and entrepreneur, with a diverse portfolio that bridges the entertainment industry and community work. She is the founder and CEO of Onyxx Unlimited International, a consulting firm specializing in business strategy, creative development, and brand management for artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations.
She is also the creator and host of HoOked On Onyxx, a media platform and radio show that blends candid storytelling, celebrity interviews, and faith-based empowerment. Through this platform, she amplifies voices, fosters dialogue, and connects audiences across cultures.
In addition to her media career, Onyxx has experience in real estate, combining her business acumen with her passion for helping individuals build generational wealth and stability.
Across every industry she touches—film, music, business, or advocacy—Onyxx brings authenticity, creativity, and unstoppable drive.
Pepper Lake City channels Onyxx’s lived experience and professional influence to serve survivors of trauma, neglect, and life’s hardest setbacks. The nonprofit’s initiatives include:
At its core, Pepper Lake City stands as proof that no story is too broken to be rewritten.
Onyxx’s mantra echoes through every project she leads:
“Tell me I cannot do something, and I will move the heavens and the earth to prove you wrong.”
Her work continues to inspire individuals to rise, rebuild, and reclaim their power—showing the world that healing, like pepper, comes in many flavors, and every one of them matters.
